Where does the name come from?

An Opel Manta is a sports coupé that was produced by the German car brand Opel between 1970 and 1988. There were two generations of the model, the Manta A and the Manta B, both of which were based on the Opel Ascona saloon platform. The Manta was a competitor to the Ford Capri and was also offered as an estate coupé with the name suffix CC. The Manta was equipped with various four-cylinder petrol engines with a displacement of between 1.2 and 2.4 litres. Some models also had fuel injection or a turbocharger. The Manta was very popular in Germany and was also sold in other countries such as the USA.  He also achieved cult status with the 1991 film "Manta, Manta", in which Til Schweiger played the leading role.

coloured Bentheim Landschwein

The colourful Bentheim Landschwein is an old breed of pig that originates from the county of Bentheim and the Emsland region. It has large black patches all over its body on a grey, white or light pink background. It is a fertile, frugal and stress-resistant breed that has good feeding characteristics. The meat of the coloured Bentheim Landschwein is very juicy and tasty, as it has a high fat and bacon content. The colourful Bentheim Landschwein was very popular in the 1950s, but then almost fell into oblivion as lean meat became more in demand.  Today it is threatened with extinction, but there is an association for the preservation of the breed, which is committed to the breeding and marketing of the meat .
